We admit it. We're lovin' this crazy, augmented reality madness. It started when an opportunity presented itself during our planning for our entry for Circus Mashimus. The results was Popscopic, which not only won the grand prize of the contest, but brought some positive attention to Modern Climate. Some of the folks at Best Buy contacted us and asked if we would put together some ideas about how they could use augmented reality on the cover of their weekly newspaper insert. We provided a variety of options and got to work building Best Buy in 3D. The finished piece, which promoted a new laptop, not only received a ton of press but it also exceeded client expectations. We have since created a second experience promoting another product. Our latest adventures in augmented reality have been in the land of mobile applications.
